In 1981 I found a
Nuclear power plant
simulation that someone had written in BASIC. The game was text based;
You entered the reactor rod setting and pressed enter for the
simulation
to cycle through one day.
I Re-Wrote the program into a graphical based constant-run simulation
for the TRS-80 (model 1) and later modified it for the TRS-80 Model 3.
I have also done versions for the Tandy CoCo and for MSDOS.
In December of 2000 I wrote a version for Windows, which was also the
first version to be animated. (Although rather crudely.)
I Hope you enjoy the simulator, and maybe learn something about the way
nuclear power is actually generated. A lot of research has gone into
the simulation over the years.
